On 29 May 2023, I was a guest on France 24 to analyse the results of the second round of the elections in Türkiye. During the interview, I explained the reasons behind President Erdoğan’s success after 21 years in power. I also emphasised that there was in fact no loser in these elections, but that the opposition alliance, united solely to unseat President Erdoğan, had no future.
