On December 14, 2024, I assessed for Türkiye Gazetesi the new period that began in Syria with the fall of Bashar al-Assad and the opposition taking over in Damascus. I shared my views on Türkiye’s influence in Syria and how its relations with the new administration would take shape. I stated that Türkiye would play a very important role at the table, and that this victory belonged not only to the opposition but also to Türkiye.
