The families held a video call with international relations specialist Öznur Küçüker Sirene, who had spoken about them on a television programme in France.
During the call, Sirene said that she is a mother herself and that she shares the pain of the families fighting for their children.
Noting that they had a duty to convey the cry of the Diyarbakır mothers to the world, Sirene said: “Countries abroad unfortunately support the PKK terrorist organisation. Both as a mother and as a Turkish citizen who cares about her homeland and her nation, I will keep conveying your pain to the whole world. May God ease your suffering as soon as possible and reunite you with your children.”
The mothers, in turn, thanked Sirene.
