On June 21, 2026, I assessed for Türkiye Gazetesi the record drone attack on Moscow, the fragile ceasefire on the Iran–Israel line and the G7 Summit. Noting that none of these developments were independent of one another, I said that Türkiye’s return to the F-35 programme could come onto the agenda at the upcoming NATO Summit.
